A single centre radiator lifted from the 911 RSR race car replaces the three-radiator layout of every 911 before it. Emptying the front corners freed the volume for adjustable front wing elements and a pair of underbody diffusers that pull the nose down rather than merely letting air past it.

The wheel rim is Race-Tex — a suede-effect microfibre chosen because it does not go slick under a wet palm — wrapped over a magnesium-cored skeleton. Four rotary controls sit on the spokes: compression and rebound damping, differential lock, and the DRS flap, all adjustable at speed without a hand leaving the rim.
